The Dutch Hairdressing Awards Judging

The judging for the Dutch Hairdressing Awards took place recently at the Trafalgar Hilton hotel in London’s Trafalgar Square and some of the industries finest turned out to take a look at the talent and judge the entries.
Amongst the judging panel was session stylist Angelo Seminara, Mahogany’s Colin Greaney, Gemma Hensman from Hensmans, Tony and Leonardo Rizzo from Sanrizz, Tommy’s Hair Company’s Tommy Van Der Veken, entrepreneur and award winning stylist Mark Woolley, Neil Smith from Barrie Stephen Hair and Toni & Guys Cos Sakkas. All were incredibly honoured to be a part of the process and pulled together to create a strong team of expertise and knowledge.
This was the second round of judging for the awards. The first round took place in February by top Dutch hairdressers, photographers, make-up artists and stylists where the finalists for the second round were chosen. In the second round, our UK industry experts decided on one winner for each category.
The 25th Dutch Hairdressing Awards will be held on the on the 1st of May 2016 at Studio 21 in Hilversum, The Netherlands. The glamorous ‘Oscars style’ ceremony is attended by around 900 guests and brings professionals from the fashion, beauty and media worlds together for a spectacular evening as hairdressers from all over the country compete and celebrate. Each finalist presents a collection of images that represent their work over the last year, their technical ability and their creativity.
