There is a player who suggests altering the Momentum and Revolution Abilities into combat modes. Since these skills don't essentially work like the other ones, and Cheap OSRS Gold should be in another section. What do you think?
A simple frame of battle modes
They not only change your harm outputs, they but also fundamentally change how the battle is utilized. Something has such a widespread effect on how the gameplay should be separated from common battle skills.
Therefore, the suggestion would be to alter the Momentum and Revolution Abilities into battle modes. And there will be three modes: Momentum, Revolution, and Free mode. You would only have the ability to change Modes out of combat.
The sole change to momentum currently is that Basics and Thresholds will be disabled instead of them yanking you out of the mode when they're activated.
The function of battle modes
To start with, even though it's merely a semantical gap, it is going to go a long way towards helping gamers unfamiliar with EoC conceptualize just what's going on and easily toggle between these. Meanwhile, acquiring these options buried in menus as skills makes things needlessly complicated and difficult to comprehend.
Question of battle modes
1. All you appear to be arguing for is a semantic difference should they operate in precisely the exact same way. If they're still skills, it is apparently a moot shift that will only be harder to locate and use.
2. They're abilities that affect your ability to work with different skills, and affect your damage output. All abilities do so to a lesser or greater extent: stun skills, for example, prevent you from using a few different stuns. Mechanically they are extremely similar: the differentiation is when they're used. Jagex already highlights them enough, and doesn't have to perform more than that.
3. I would need to say this is really an excellent idea. Just because it's just semantic doesn't mean it is not important. They are not abilities including the rest of RuneScape Gold 2007. And we only hope there'll be more fun from this game!
